Although it is difficult to find a rare dog breeds as many of them have been over bred many, many times, it is something strange when you do.  Yet, most people do not even notice.  The problem with breeding any two dogs together is that the negative traits of the breeds may not mix well.  Some animals will have a good deal of medical problems due to the breeding. Other dogs will have personality problems such as incredible aggressions or possibly complete shyness.  Some have a mixture of both physical as well as emotional problems that can make them even rarer and more troublesome.

Of course, many of the rare breeds of dogs that are out there are rare simply because the species is not one that is heavily populated.  Around the world there are plenty of different types of rare dog breeds and animals that need to be considered and yet, some have not met others from other areas of the world.  This distance and rarity can be the cause of many animals not being bred together.  Yet, this is not necessarily something that is a bad thing.  Many people believe that the best dogs are those dogs that have not be breed with other mixes but have been and stayed pure breeds.  OF course, in some breeds, this too can be something of a rarity.
